Die-Set Transfer Stampings
A natural upward progression from an eyelet stamping, Die-set transfer stamping involves a solid ram press utilizing individual metal working stations bolted in to a singular die-set. The die-set consists of both upper and lower plates which allows for the transfer of the part between stations with every upward stroke of the press. During this process, the part is transferred from station to station by the use of transfer fingers, free of a constraining material web. Almost any part feature such as pierce holes, lances, reverse draws coin rings, wall thinning and more can be accomplished right in the tool eliminating the need for and the additional cost involved in many secondary processes.
